Numerous military munitions response sites in the United States and beyond are contaminated with Materials Potentially Presenting an Explosive Hazard (MPPEH). FPM provides highly qualified UXO personnel sufficiently experienced in identifying and inspecting discovered or excavated MPPEH at munitions response sites. FPM’s qualified UXO personnel typically perform the inspection by classifying MPPEH as either Material Documented as an Explosive Hazard (MDEH) or Material Documented as Safe (MDAS).
MDEH from your contaminated site will be appropriately disposed in accordance with the procedures and requirements contained in your Site Explosive Plan/Explosives Safety Submission (ESS) approved by the Department of Defense Explosives Safety Board (DDESB). MDAS items recovered from your site investigation will be further characterized into Munitions Debris (MD), Range Related Debris (RD), Cultural Debris (CD), trash, and other debris. Our experienced UXO team will securely store your containerized MDAS for final processing and offsite disposal/recycling.
